While the history of this business dates back to 1959, it was in 1999 that Kip and Sandi Thompson began to lead Harvest House Meat Processing. Their journey has endured many experiences, but what has remained consistent over the last 25 years is their value for people and their products. Kip was raised in the livestock business and worked in calf barns at just 9 years old. He attended college at Texas A&M University and raised dairy replacement heifers for two summers to earn money for college.  Sandi’s upbringing revolved around raising cattle, hogs, angora goats, and rambouillet sheep since she could walk. She spent hours in a tractor with her father to later farm right beside him. As newlyweds, the Thompson’s raised dairy replacement heifers and continued to enhance their love for this industry. As current business owners, they believe their dedication and focus on quality brings forth their success. If we won’t feed it to our family, we won’t feed it to yours!

We understand the importance of trust and believe it is an honor to provide food for your families! When you think of us, we strive for the first word that comes to mind is quality. Our team puts in a tremendous amount of effort in keeping everyone’s product separate! From cattle, hogs, sheep and goats to white-tailed deer, axis, fallow, elk, other exotics and wild hogs, your animal is immediately identified to ensure it’s kept separate, processed, packaged and boxed, ready for your freezer.  We never mix your meat with others.   When you take the time to raise or harvest your animals, it is our priority to respect it and ensure you receive the same meat back!  Keeping everything separate may take a little longer, but we think it’s worth it.  Each product is made one at a time, individually, which backs our motto, “One Process at a Time Since 1999!” From domestic to wild game, they are all treated the same. If you don’t raise or harvest your own cattle or hogs, and you’re looking for preferred cuts to fit your family, we hope you’ll reach out and give us a chance to help you.
